After claiming his 4th victory of the season, Greg Bass Jr. and the 81 Bass Motorsports team returned to victory lane at Dublin Motor Speedway in Dublin NC. Greg is scheduled to race tonight, August 9th, at Fayetteville Motor Speedway. Come out and support the 81 team as they work toward their sixth win of 2008! Also, don't forget the special World of Outlaws Super Late Model Series will make their first appearance at Fayetteville Motor Speedway on Friday, August 15th. Greg Bass Jr. and the 81 Super Street charges to victory at Dublin Motor Speedway in Dublin, NC on August 1st, 2008. Fans witnessed 17 Super Stock entries in the 2nd Annual Pop Smith Super Stock event. Greg stated that the car was in great shape and he was proud to come out on top of a competetive field. Greg returns to action on September 8th at Dublin Motor Speedway and September 9th at Fayetteville Motor Speedway. Come out and pull for the red and blue 81! |

| 3/21/08 Greg claims his first victory of the 2008 season! |
After struggling through the previous weekend, Greg Bass Racing was able to correct the fuel problem and came roaring back with a feature win at Dublin Motor Speedway in Dublin, NC on Friday, March 21. After having some initial handling issues which led to a 6th place qualifying spot, the team made necessary adjustments which allowed them take the lead on the 7th lap. Greg would ultimately hold off the #18 car driven by Joel Wilson to win the 20 lap feature event. Greg was back in action on Saturday night at Fayetteville Motor Speedway. They were off to a good start when they qualified 3rd for the feature, but unlike the previous night in Dublin, they missed the setup and finished 6th in the 15 lap feature event. The team is much more confident after resolving the fuel issue and looks forward to battling for another win this weekend! |
| 3 /14 and 3/16/08 - A weekend to forget. |
| After experiencing some difficulties during practice sessions ealier in the month at Fayetteville, team Bass was hoping to get things going this past Friday night, March 14th, at Dublin Motor Speedway in Dublin, NC. The team quickly realized that the 81 Super Street car was still having some mechanical issues. Greg made his way to Fayetteville Motor Speedway on Sunday, March 16th without having much time to diagnose the source of the problem. Greg was unable to complete a lap during either feature race over the weekend. The team suspects a fuel problem and will be working hard throughout the week to get things in shape for week 2 of the 2008 race season! |
